Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click Create, and select Zaps to begin building a new automation.
- Click Trigger to set up the starting point of your Zap.
- Search for Notion and select it as your Trigger App.
- Choose a trigger event such as New Database Item, which fires when a new item is added to a Notion database.
- When prompted, connect your Notion account to authorize Zapier access.
- Select the specific Notion database you want to sync.
- Test the trigger to confirm Zapier can successfully fetch data from your database.
- Add the destination app where Notion data should sync, such as Google Sheets, Trello, or Airtable.
- Select the appropriate action event for the destination app.
- Connect your destination app account to authorize the action step.
- Map Notion database properties to the corresponding fields in the destination app.
- Run a test to verify the connection and confirm data is syncing correctly.
- Once testing passes, click Publish to activate real-time syncing between Notion and your destination app.
