It is very easy to add an OpenAI API key in n8n. Here’s a short guide on how to do it in simple steps:
- On n8n's main dashboard, go to the top-right corner and click the drop-down arrow next to the 'Create Workflow' option.
- Choose 'Create Credential' from the list.
- After that, find and select 'OpenAI' from the app menu.
- Tap 'Continue' afterwards to proceed.
- Prepare your OpenAI API key and enter it into the provided input field.
- Subsequently, provide the other optional and required details associated with your OpenAI account. Among them are the Organization ID, Base URL, HTTP Request Domains, and other relevant settings.
- Once done, click 'Save' to apply the changes.
- Finally, your OpenAI API key will be added to your n8n account.
