📌 Why this matters

Why This Matters

Adding background colors transforms your slides from generic templates into branded, cohesive presentations that reflect your organization's visual identity. Beyond basic aesthetics, background colors create visual hierarchy and improve readability by providing proper contrast for your text and graphics. When you apply colors consistently across slides using the theme feature, you establish professional continuity that helps audiences focus on your content rather than getting distracted by inconsistent design elements. This small change significantly elevates the perceived quality and credibility of your presentation.
