How to Add Background Music in Clipchamp

Use this interactive demo to learn how to add background music in Clipchamp.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add background music in Clipchamp.

  1. Open your video project.
  2. In the Media and tools panel on the left side of your screen, click Content Library. This will display lists of content already in Clipchamp.
  3. Under the search bar, ensure that Audio is selected.
  4. Click the dropdown arrow beside Audio and click on Music to ensure that only music will be displayed on the list below.
  5. You can also click the Filter icon beside the search bar to filter Premium and Free content.
  6. Choose a Collection on the list then click.
  7. Click the Play button on each music clip to preview.
  8. If you want to go back to the previous selection, just click the Tag under the search bar to remove it.
  9. Once you’re done choosing, click the selected music.
  10. Click Add to my media to add the music clip to My media panel. Click Add to timeline to directly add the music clip to the timeline.
  11. Background music is now added

Note: You can also add background music via Import media but you will have to source your own music clip.
