Try this guided demo to learn how to add blank slide in Google Slides.
  1. Right-click on your current slide, then select 'New Slide' to add another slide after it.
  2. A new slide will appear immediately after your current slide.
  3. Right-click on your new slide, select 'Apply Layout', and then choose 'Blank' from the options.
  4. Your new slide will now appear as a blank slide.

📌 Why this matters

Adding blank slides gives you complete creative control over your presentation layout without being constrained by predefined text boxes or image placeholders. You can position elements exactly where you want them, create custom infographics, or build unique visual hierarchies that match your specific content needs. This flexibility becomes especially valuable when you're designing slides that don't fit standard formats, like custom diagrams, artistic layouts, or when you need to precisely align multiple elements for professional presentations.
