Here’s how to do it:
- Start by opening VS Code and clicking the gear icon to access your extensions.
- Now, click the filter icon in the search bar to narrow down your options.
- From the filter menu, select "MCP servers" to view available integrations.
- Type "@mcp GitHub" in the search bar to find the GitHub MCP server.
- Choose "GitHub" from the search results to proceed with setup.
- Hit "Install" to add the GitHub MCP server to your Copilot setup.
- Finish up by clicking "Allow" to authorize the connection. You're all set.
