Steps
- Go to studio.youtube.com, click Content in the left sidebar, then click the title of the video you want to update.
- Click into the Description field and add timestamps after the summary, starting with 0:00 Introduction.
- List each timestamp in order using the format: time followed by the section title.
- Make sure all timestamps are in ascending order and that each time corresponds accurately to the correct moment in the video.
- Click the X icon in the top-right corner to Save and close and apply the changes.
