Backing up an MS Access database protects your data from accidental loss or corruption. Using the built-in Backup Database option in Access, you can save a copy of your database file to any folder in just a few clicks.
Steps
- Open your Access database and click the File tab in the ribbon.
- Select Save As from the File menu.
- Under the Save Database As section, select Backup Database.
- Click Save As to confirm the backup option.
- In the dialog box, choose the destination folder where you want to save the backup file and click Save.
