Follow this interactive demo to learn how to block a company on LinkedIn.
  1. In the LinkedIn search bar, type and select the company.
  2. First, you can unfollow the company by clicking the ‘Following’ button to undo the action, which will stop updates from appearing in your feed.
  3. Alternatively, go to the company page and click the 'bell' icon to manage notifications.
  4. Turn off notifications to stop receiving updates from the company on your LinkedIn feed.

📌 Why this matters

Blocking companies helps you curate a more relevant professional feed, especially when you're job hunting and don't want current or former employers seeing your activity. Beyond basic feed management, this becomes crucial during sensitive career transitions or when you're avoiding industry drama that could affect your reputation. Companies often monitor who engages with their content and competitor posts, so controlling your visibility protects your professional relationships while you explore new opportunities without unwanted attention or awkward conversations.
