Quick summary
Changing your LinkedIn header (also called your profile headline) is done through the Edit Intro dialog on your profile page. Updating this field helps you control how you appear in LinkedIn search results and to recruiters or connections.
Steps
- Go to your LinkedIn profile page and click the pencil icon below your banner to open the Edit Intro dialog.
- In the Edit Intro dialog box, scroll to the Headline field and add or modify the information currently placed in it.
- Click the Save button once done to apply your changes.
