You can rename a PowerPoint Online file in seconds by clicking the File Name field at the top of the slide canvas and typing a new name. This works directly in Microsoft PowerPoint for the web without downloading or reopening the file.
Steps
- Inside the slide canvas, go to the top-left corner and click the File Name field.
- Type the new PowerPoint name you want to use.
- Click anywhere on the canvas to apply the changes.
