📌 Why this matters

Changing a shape's gradient color in PowerPoint lets presenters create visually compelling, on-brand slides without relying on a designer. Custom gradient fills give shapes depth and dimension, making key content stand out in pitches, reports, and training decks. Mastering the Shape Format and Format Shape panel unlocks precise color control over every gradient stop, enabling consistent and professional slide design. This skill is essential for anyone who regularly builds or refines PowerPoint presentations.
