This demo shows how to integrate PayPal with Slack using a Zapier Zap, so your team receives an automatic Slack channel message every time a successful PayPal sale is made. Setting up this automation takes just minutes and requires no code.
Steps
- Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar to start building a new Zap.
- Click on the Trigger step to define what event will start the automation.
- Select PayPal from the listed apps as your trigger application.
- Set the Trigger event to Successful Sale to fire the Zap on every completed payment.
- Select your Action event to define what happens after the trigger fires.
- Search for Slack as the action application.
- Choose Send channel message as the Action to post a notification to a Slack channel.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already linked to Zapier.
- Click Publish to activate the Zap and establish the live PayPal–Slack connection.
