This demo walks you through setting up a Slack WordPress integration using Zapier, so every new WordPress post automatically sends a message to a Slack channel. No code is required — just a few configuration steps inside the Zapier editor to connect both accounts and publish your Zap.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier and navigate to Zaps in the left sidebar.
- Click Create > New Zap from the top right corner.
- Click on the Trigger field and select WordPress as the trigger app.
- Search and select WordPress from the list of available apps.
- Set the trigger event to New Post.
- Click on Account to connect your WordPress account.
- Enter your WordPress URL and login credentials, then click Yes, Continue.
- Select your Action event in the Action step of the Zap.
- Search and select Slack as the action app.
- Choose Send Channel Message as the Slack action.
- Connect your Slack account if it is not already linked.
- Click Allow to grant Zapier access to your Slack workspace.
- Click Publish to activate the integration and establish the connection.
