Follow this interactive demo to learn how to copy and paste pictures on Google Slides.
  1. Select the image you want to copy in Google Slides, then press Ctrl + C on your keyboard to copy it.
  2. Open your Google Slides presentation and select the slide where you want to paste your image.
  3. Press Ctrl + V on your keyboard to paste the image onto the slide.

📌 Why this matters

Copying and pasting images saves you from repeatedly uploading the same graphics across multiple slides or presentations. You can quickly duplicate logos, charts, or visual elements without losing quality or having to rebuild formatting. Beyond simple duplication, this technique lets you maintain visual consistency across an entire presentation series. When you're creating templates or slide decks that share common branding elements, copying images ensures identical positioning and sizing every time, creating a polished, professional look that would be nearly impossible to achieve by manually placing each image.
