Setting up a recurring task in Asana lets teams automate repetitive work by configuring a repeat schedule directly from the task's Due Date calendar. Asana offers five recurrence options so you can match any workflow cadence without manually recreating tasks.
Steps
- Go to your Project menu and click Add task.
- After adding the task, click the details option to open the task and enable recurrence.
- Click on Due Date to open the calendar picker.
- Click the Set to repeat option at the bottom of the calendar.
- Set your preferred recurring schedule for the task.
- Review the five available recurrence selections offered by Asana to choose the right frequency.
- Confirm your settings — your recurring task is now active and will repeat automatically.
