An unlisted YouTube video is only accessible to people who have the direct link — it won't appear in search results or on your channel. You can upload and set visibility to Unlisted in just a few steps inside YouTube Studio.
Steps
- Go to studio.youtube.com, click Create > Upload videos, and select your video file.
- Complete the title and description fields on the details page.
- In the Visibility section, select Unlisted.
- Click Save — the video is now live but only accessible to people with the direct link.
- To share the video, go to Content, find the unlisted video, click the three dots, and select Get shareable link to copy the URL.
