How to Delete a Lot of Google Slides at Once

Use this interactive demo to learn how to delete a lot of Google Slides at once.
  1. Open your presentation and head to the slide panel on the left—this is where the magic happens.
  2. Hold down Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and click each slide you want to remove. Select as many as you need.
  3. Right-click any selected slide and hit Delete. Done—all those slides are gone in one click.

📌 Why this matters

You might think deleting slides one by one isn't that tedious, but presentations have a way of growing out of control—especially collaborative ones where teammates keep adding content. Beyond the obvious time-saver, bulk deletion lets you experiment fearlessly with presentation structure. You can duplicate sections, try different approaches, then quickly strip out what doesn't work. This turns editing from a careful, precious process into something more fluid and creative, where you're not afraid to make bold changes because cleanup is so effortless.
