Quick summary
You can download Jira Stories to Excel by filtering your board's Issues by type and using the built-in Export Excel CSV option. This process lets you extract either all fields or only selected fields from your Jira board in just a few clicks.
Steps
- Navigate to your preferred Jira board.
- Click 'Issues' located in the side menu of your board.
- Start filtering your issues and click the 'Type' column.
- Select 'Story' to filter issues by the Story type.
- Click 'Export issues' to open the export options.
- Choose 'Export Excel CSV (all fields)' or 'Export Excel CSV (current fields)' depending on your needs, then click to download.
