Try this interactive demo to learn how to download selected slides in Google Slides.
  1. On the left panel of Google Slides, click the slide thumbnail you want to download.
  2. On the top menu, click File.
  3. In the dropdown menu, click Download.
  4. Click Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg) and you're all set!

📌 Why this matters

Downloading individual slides lets you repurpose specific content across different platforms without carrying over unwanted formatting or file bloat from the entire presentation. You can embed these slides into websites, use them in marketing materials, or share key points on social media while maintaining crisp image quality. The SVG format is particularly valuable because it scales perfectly at any size, making your slides look professional whether displayed on a phone screen or printed on a large banner.
