Duplicating a section in Asana lets you instantly replicate task structures within a project, saving setup time and keeping workflows consistent. This feature is accessible directly from the ellipsis menu beside any existing section in your project view.
Steps
- Go to the Projects menu and open an existing project.
- Click the ellipsis icon beside the section to view more section actions.
- Select the Duplicate section option from the dropdown menu.
- Click Create new section to proceed with the duplication.
- A notification will pop up confirming the changes have been applied.
- The duplicated section will now be visible in your project view, ready to reuse by repeating these steps.
