Walk through this interactive demo to learn how to edit a scheduled post on LinkedIn.
  1. Click 'Write Article' below your status box.
  2. Click 'Manage' and select 'Scheduled'.
  3. Click the three-dot icon (...) in the top-right corner of the scheduled article you want to modify.
  4. Click 'Modify Post Schedule'.
  5. Modify the date and time of posting. Then, click "Save' to save changes.
  6. Click 'Edit Post'.
  7. Click 'Schedule' to apply changes.
  8. Make any necessary changes to the scheduled article.

📌 Why this matters

You can adjust your content strategy on the fly without losing momentum or having to recreate posts from scratch. This flexibility becomes especially valuable when external events shift the conversation or when you spot trending topics that align better with your message. Rather than watching a perfectly good post go live at the wrong moment, you maintain control over your professional narrative. Your scheduled content stays relevant and timely, which directly impacts engagement rates since LinkedIn's algorithm favors posts that generate immediate interaction.
