Use this interactive demo to learn how to check and calculate your YouTube channel's estimated earnings.

Quick summary

This demo walks you through using YouTube Studio Analytics to find your channel's estimated revenue and calculate a reliable monthly earnings estimate from your real data. By reading the Revenue tab and applying a simple daily-average formula, you can project consistent income figures without any third-party tools.

Steps

  1. Go to studio.youtube.com, click Analytics, then select the Revenue tab.
  2. Review the Estimated revenue card at the top of the page and set the date range to Last 28 days for a current monthly estimate.
  3. Note your estimated revenue figure and the corresponding time period (for example, $139.18 over 28 days).
  4. Divide the revenue by the number of days to calculate a daily average (e.g., $139.18 ÷ 28 ≈ $4.97/day).
  5. Multiply the daily average by 30 to project your monthly earnings (e.g., $4.97 × 30 ≈ $149/month).
  6. Track the Revenue tab monthly to monitor trends and keep your earnings estimate up to date.

📌 Why this matters

Understanding how to estimate YouTube channel earnings from YouTube Studio Analytics gives creators accurate, data-driven income projections without relying on third-party estimator tools. The Revenue tab in YouTube Studio provides real monetization data — including AdSense revenue, channel memberships, and Super Chats — making it the most reliable source for calculating daily and monthly earnings. Knowing your actual estimated revenue helps creators plan content strategy, negotiate brand deals, and set realistic financial goals. This workflow empowers any monetized YouTube creator to turn raw analytics data into actionable earnings forecasts in minutes.
