Quick summary
Freezing panes in Smartsheet keeps selected columns visible as you scroll horizontally across large sheets. This feature helps teams maintain context when reviewing wide datasets in Grid View.
Steps
- Inside Smartsheet's Grid View, select a column you want to freeze.
- Tap the column's corresponding Column Menu button to open its options.
- Pick Freeze Column from the list of available options.
- The pane to the left of the selected column will now be frozen in place.
