Quick summary
The Klaviyo API key allows you to connect your Klaviyo account with third-party apps and internal tools. You can access both the public API key and create a private API key directly from the Klaviyo Settings menu.
Steps
- Go to the bottom-left section of your Klaviyo dashboard and click the Company tab.
- Tap Settings to proceed to the account settings area.
- Select API Keys from the list of available options.
- Locate your public API key under the Public API Key / Site ID section and copy it for use.
- To create a private key, scroll down and click Create Private API Key.
- Enter a unique Private API Key Name into the provided input field.
- Select your preferred access level by ticking the radio button next to the desired option.
- If applicable, specify your preferred API scopes for the key.
- Review your inputs and click Create to generate the key.
- Your new private API key will be generated instantly and is ready to use for integrating compatible apps with your Klaviyo account.
