Quick summary
Importing collections in Postman lets you quickly load saved API requests, folders, or external sources into your workspace. You can import files, folders, cURL commands, raw text, or URLs in just a few clicks.
Steps
- In Postman's main workspace, go to the left-side panel and click Collections.
- Tap the Import button to open the import dialog.
- Select the Upload tab and choose the file or folder you want to import — or enter a cURL, raw text, or URL into the Request Bar to add collections from external sources.
- Once complete, your Postman collection will be imported instantly and available in your workspace.
