Use this step-by-step demo to learn how to import contacts to LinkedIn.
  1. Click ‘My Network’ from the top menu of your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to and click ‘Import Gmail contacts’.
  3. Sign in to continue.
  4. Click 'Continue' to allow LinkedIn access to your Google account.
  5. A pop-up notification will appear informing you that your contacts have been successfully imported to LinkedIn.

📌 Why this matters

Importing your Gmail contacts lets you quickly find colleagues, clients, and industry connections who are already on the platform, turning your existing email relationships into professional networking opportunities. Your email contacts often include people you've worked with briefly or met at events but never formally connected with professionally. By importing these contacts, you're essentially mapping your real-world professional network onto LinkedIn, which helps the platform suggest more relevant connections and gives you a stronger foundation for career opportunities and business development.
