How to Import Google Slides into iMovie

Walk through this interactive demo to learn how to import Google Slides into imovie.
  1. In your Google Slides file, go to File in the top toolbar.
  2. In the dropdown, click Convert to video.
  3. Select the slides you want to import and click the button just above Import if you want to include AI voiceover.
  4. Now click Import below once you’ve double-checked and selected your slides.
  5. The video will automatically generate in a new tab, and go to File in the top left corner of your screen.
  6. Hover over Download.
  7. Choose MP4 video, then click Save.
  8. Open iMovie, and at the top, click the arrow facing downward.
  9. Select your exported presentation file.
  10. Click the Import Selected button below.
  11. Done! You’ve now imported your Google Slides into iMovie. Click play button to test your video.
