Quick summary
This tutorial shows how to improve email delivery rate in SendGrid by completing domain authentication via DNS records. Setting up Sender Authentication verifies your sending domain, reduces spam filtering, and increases inbox placement rates.
Steps
- Log into your SendGrid account and go to Settings in the left panel.
- Find and select Sender Authentication.
- Click Get Started under Authenticate Your Domain.
- Select your DNS provider from the list (e.g., Cloudflare).
- Click Next to continue.
- Enter your website domain and click Next.
- Copy the generated DNS records, then go to your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap) and open DNS Management. Add a new CNAME record for each of the first three lines, add a new TXT record for the last line, and paste the values exactly as shown.
