Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect Calendly booking events to your Discord server automatically.

Quick summary

This tutorial walks you through building a Zapier automation that connects Calendly to Discord, so every new booking event triggers a message in your chosen Discord server. The entire setup takes just minutes and requires no coding — only a Zapier account and access to both apps.

Steps

  1. Log in to Zapier, click "Create," and select "Zaps" to start building a new automation.
  2. Click "Trigger" to begin configuring the trigger step of your Zap.
  3. Search for "Calendly" and select it as the Trigger App.
  4. Choose a trigger event from the Calendly options (for example, "Invitee Created").
  5. Sign in to your Calendly account and click "Continue" to connect it to Zapier.
  6. Select a webhook subscription scope and continue to the next step.
  7. Click "Test trigger" to verify that Zapier can receive data from Calendly.
  8. Click "Continue" to proceed to setting up the action step.
  9. Search for "Discord" and select it as the action app.
  10. Choose an action event to define what Discord does when the trigger fires.
  11. Sign in to your Discord account to connect it to Zapier.
  12. Select a Discord server from the list and click "Continue."
  13. Click "Authorize" to grant Zapier access to your Discord server.
  14. Complete and customize the required message fields, then click "Continue."
  15. Click "Test step" to confirm the Discord action works correctly.
  16. Click "Publish" to activate and complete the Calendly–Discord integration.

📌 Why this matters

Integrating Calendly with Discord via Zapier allows teams to receive automatic Discord notifications whenever a new meeting is booked, eliminating the need to manually monitor a calendar. This Calendly–Discord automation is especially valuable for community managers, sales teams, and support staff who coordinate in Discord and need real-time scheduling updates. By connecting these two tools through a no-code Zap, users can reduce response times, keep their Discord community informed, and ensure no booking goes unnoticed. Setting up this integration takes just minutes and requires no technical expertise, making it accessible to any team already using Calendly and Discord.
