The Intercom–Zendesk integration lets support teams link conversations across both platforms by installing the Zendesk app directly from Intercom's App Store and authenticating with an API token. Once connected, Zendesk ticket data becomes available inside every Intercom conversation details panel, giving agents full context without switching tools.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel and click Settings.
- Select Integrations from the list of options.
- Tap App Store to proceed to the integrations marketplace.
- Search for Zendesk and select the Zendesk Support app you want to integrate.
- Click Install Now to begin the installation process.
- Click Authorize Access to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Tap Go To Settings to proceed and connect your accounts.
- Enter your Zendesk email address, API Token, and app name into their respective fields, then click Connect.
- Your Intercom account is now integrated with Zendesk and available in your conversation details.
