This tutorial shows you how to integrate Smartsheet with Airtable using Zapier by building an automated workflow that syncs data between both platforms. Once configured, the Zap automatically passes records from Smartsheet into Airtable without any manual effort.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel in Zapier, then click Create.
- Select Zaps from the list of automated workflow options.
- Click the Trigger tab to start the integration setup process.
- Search for Smartsheet and select it from the recommended matches as your trigger app.
- Open the drop-down menu and choose your preferred Trigger Event.
- Click Sign In and log in to your Smartsheet account to connect it.
- Click Allow to accept the terms and grant the required permissions.
- Fill in the required fields to configure the Trigger, including selecting a sheet.
- Click Continue to run your input and test the Trigger.
- Select your preferred record and click Continue With Selected Record.
- Search for Airtable and select it as the Action app.
- Open the drop-down menu and choose the specific Action Event you want to carry out.
- Click Sign In and log in to your Airtable account to connect it.
- Confirm your Airtable workspace and click Grant Access to proceed.
- Fill out the required input fields, including the Base and other action details.
- Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
- Your Zap is now live — Smartsheet is successfully integrated with Airtable.
