Layering text boxes in Google Slides lets you precisely control which elements appear in front of or behind others. Use the Arrange > Order menu to send objects forward or backward within the slide's layer stack.
Steps
- Click the text box you want to layer.
- In the top menu, click Arrange.
- In the dropdown menu, hover over Order.
- Choose Bring to front, Bring forward, Send backward, or Send to back.
- Your text box will move to the layer position you selected.
