Quick summary
Logging a call in Insightly lets you permanently record customer interactions directly on a contact's profile, keeping your entire team aligned with a full communication history. You can add a note, set visibility to share it with everyone, and save it in seconds from the Related tab.
Steps
- Navigate to the Contacts section from the main menu to start managing your network.
- Select a contact profile — for example, click on Aaron Lang.
- Open the Related tab to view all interactions and connections linked to this contact.
- Go to the Notes section and click Add Note to begin documenting the interaction.
- Enter the note details, including the title, date, and time of the call.
- Set visibility to Everyone to share the interaction record with your entire team.
- Click Save to preserve the customer interaction details in the system.
- Confirm the new note has been created successfully via the on-screen confirmation message.
- Verify the call is logged on the contact's record to confirm all communication channels are tracked.
