Try this guided demo to learn how to make Google Slides presentation public.
  1. First, open your Google Slides presentation.
  2. Click the "Share" button to open sharing settings where you'll control who can access your presentation.
  3. Now, under "General access", click "Restricted".
  4. Change to "Anyone with the link" to make your presentation publicly accessible.
  5. Set the access level to "Viewer" so anyone can view your presentation without editing it.
  6. Click "Copy link" to grab the shareable URL for your now-public presentation.
  7. Hit "Done" and your presentation is now public and ready to share with anyone using the copied link.

📌 Why this matters

Making your presentation public lets you share content with large audiences without requiring them to sign in or request access. This eliminates the friction that often prevents people from viewing your work. You can embed public presentations directly into websites, share them on social media, or include links in email campaigns knowing recipients will have instant access. Public presentations also get indexed by search engines, potentially driving organic traffic to your content and expanding your reach beyond your immediate network.
