This demo shows how to use videotranscriber.ai to automatically generate an SRT subtitle file from a YouTube video URL and upload it directly to YouTube Studio. The entire process — from transcription to publishing captions — takes just a few steps with no sign-up required.
Steps
- Go to videotranscriber.ai, paste your YouTube URL, select the language, and click Get Transcribe to generate a transcript.
- Export and download the transcript file in SRT format.
- Open the downloaded SRT file to verify subtitle formatting, correct any issues, and save it with the .srt extension.
- Go to studio.youtube.com, click Subtitles in the left sidebar, select the video you want to caption, and choose the appropriate language.
- Click Upload file, select With timing, choose your SRT file, and click Continue to upload.
- Review the captions in the YouTube Studio editor and click Publish to make them live.
