Walk through this interactive demo to learn how to put a picture of yourself on Google Slides.
  1. From the top menu, choose Insert, then Image, and click Camera to add a photo of yourself.
  2. Click Capture in the camera window to take an image of yourself.
  3. Click the image you want, then select Insert.
  4. Your image will be inserted into the slide.

📌 Why this matters

Adding your photo to presentations creates instant credibility and personal connection with your audience. When you put a face to your ideas, viewers are more likely to trust and remember your content. This becomes especially powerful for remote presentations, online courses, or shared documents where you can't be physically present. Your photo transforms an anonymous slide deck into a personal communication, making viewers feel like they're having a conversation with you rather than consuming generic information.
