Quick summary
To remove yourself from LinkedIn, navigate to Settings & Privacy, then use Account Management to either hibernate your account temporarily or close and delete it permanently. The process takes just a few clicks and requires your password to confirm permanent deletion.
Steps
- Click your profile in the top menu of your LinkedIn dashboard.
- Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu.
- Under Account Preferences, navigate to Account Management.
- Choose either Hibernate Account for temporary deactivation or Close and Delete Account for permanent deletion.
- For the Close and Delete option, click Continue to proceed.
- Select a reason for deletion, then click Next.
- Enter your password, then click the Done button to permanently delete your account.
