Use this interactive demo to learn how to save your Clipchamp project.

‍

‍

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how Clipchamp saves your projects. Clipchamp mainly uses OneDrive for storage so it would be easier if your OneDrive backup is turned on.

‍

  1. As default, Clipchamp saves your projects to OneDrive.
  2. Open Clipchamp and create a new project.
  3. Rename project on the top-left corner of the screen if needed.
  4. Go back to Clipchamp homepage by clicking Clipchamp beside the project name.
  5. Clipchamp automatically saves your project.‍
  6. Wait for Clipchamp to update the list of projects.
  7. If your project is still not available, refresh the homepage. You can go to Templates then back to Home.
  8. Your project is now accessible to the current device for later editing.
  9. If you’re planning to edit your project using another device, you will have to sync OneDrive and turn on media backup.
  10. Project files are now saved in OneDrive and ready for later editing.

📌 Why this matters

Saving your Clipchamp project properly ensures you can pick up where you left off, whether you're working in multiple sessions or switching between devices. The real advantage comes from OneDrive integration, which creates a seamless workflow across your entire Microsoft ecosystem.

Your video projects become accessible anywhere you have internet access, and the automatic sync means collaborators can jump into your work without manual file transfers. This cloud-based approach also protects against losing hours of editing work due to crashes or hardware failures.
