Use this interactive demo to learn how to save a video in Clipchamp.

‍

‍

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to save a video from Clipchamp.

‍

  1. Open your project in Clipchamp.
  2. Click Export at the top-right of the editor.
  3. Select the resolution you want for the final video.
  4. Store in the cloud is toggled on by default.
  5. Click Export.
  6. Wait for Clipchamp to render the video.
  7. After rendering finishes, your video will be uploaded to OneDrive.
  8. Your video is now saved to OneDrive.

📌 Why this matters

Saving your video properly ensures you can access it from any device and share it without losing quality. The automatic OneDrive integration creates a permanent backup that survives computer crashes or accidental deletions.

You can also generate multiple versions at different resolutions for various platforms – a high-quality version for presentations and compressed versions for social media – all stored centrally. This eliminates the frustration of recreating lost work or hunting through local folders when you need your video later.
