Try this interactive demo to learn how to save image on Google Slides.
  1. Right-click on the image you want to save. This opens a quick menu with several options.
  2. Select "Save to Keep" from the menu. Your image will be stored in Google Keep for easy access later
  3. A sidebar opens, right-click the image and save.

📌 Why this matters

You might need that presentation image for a social media post, email signature, or separate document later. Rather than hunting through your Google Drive folders or trying to screenshot and crop, saving directly gives you the original high-quality file. This becomes especially valuable when you're working with branded graphics, charts, or photos that took time to format perfectly in your slide. The image stays accessible in Keep even if the original presentation gets moved, shared with restricted permissions, or deleted.
