Follow this interactive demo to learn how to select slides to copy in Google Slides.
  1. Click on the first slide you want to copy—hold down Shift to select multiple slides in a row.
  2. Right-click on any selected slide to open the context menu and select "Copy".
  3. Your selected slides are now ready to paste wherever you need them.

📌 Why this matters

Copying slides lets you reuse content across presentations without rebuilding from scratch—perfect for maintaining consistent branding, templates, or data visualizations. Beyond simple duplication, this becomes a presentation management strategy. You can create a master presentation library where each slide represents a reusable component: intro slides, conclusion templates, or standard charts. When building new presentations, you're assembling proven elements rather than starting fresh each time, which speeds up creation and ensures consistency across all your work.
