It is very easy to send an email in n8n using the Gmail node. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it:
- Inside your n8n workflow, click the 'Add' button to create a new step.
- After that, tap the search bar in the right-hand panel and type 'Gmail'.
- Find and select 'Gmail' from the suggested results.
- Subsequently, click 'Send a Message' to proceed.
- Now, it's time to set up the selected node according to your preference. To get started, click the 'Credential' menu and choose the Gmail account you want to use.
- As for Resource and Operation, make sure that 'Message' and 'Send' are selected respectively.
- Following that, type the email address of the recipient into the input field below the 'To' section.
- Prepare the Subject next, then enter it into the provided entry field.
- Tap the 'Email Type' menu and select one based on your preference.
- At this point, you can now type the body of the email into the 'Message' field.
- If you wish to personalize the node further, you may click the 'Add Option' menu and make your desired configuration.
- Once done, click 'Execute Step'.
- Finally, your email will be sent according to the configuration of the Gmail node in your n8n workflow.
