Steps
- Go to the Talent section and click Discover to browse available freelancers.
- Click on a freelancer's profile to view their details.
- Click the ellipsis icon on the freelancer's profile page to reveal more options.
- Click the Hire button to initiate the offer process.
- You will be directed to the offer page where you can fill in the job details.
- Set the offer terms and provide all required job information.
- Define the scope of work by selecting either hourly or fixed-price contract type.
- Enter the hourly rate or total fixed-price amount for the project.
- Set a weekly limit to keep the engagement within your budget.
- Check the checkbox to allow the freelancer to log time manually if needed.
- Provide a message with details or specific instructions for the freelancer.
- Check the checkbox to agree to Upwork's terms and services.
- Click Continue to submit the offer — the freelancer will now receive it.
