Use this step-by-step demo to learn how to send your Google Slides in email.
  1. Click File in the top-left corner of the screen, then select Email and choose Email this file from the options.
  2. In the Email dialog box, type the email address of the person you want to send the presentation to.
  3. Click on the presentation name then type your new title to rename it.
  4. Click on the message box, then type your short message for the recipient.
  5. Click on the file type option, then select your preferred format for your presentation.
  6. Click Send to send your presentation via email.

📌 Why this matters

Emailing presentations directly from Google Slides lets you share your work without leaving the platform or dealing with messy file attachments. You can customize the file format for different recipients - send a PDF to clients who just need to view it, or share an editable version with collaborators. This built-in sharing also automatically includes a personalized message and proper file naming, making your communications look more professional than hastily forwarded attachments with generic titles like "Untitled presentation."
