This demo walks you through how to display unemployed or open-to-work status on LinkedIn by updating your headline and adding an Open to Work badge visible to all LinkedIn members.
Steps
- Click the pencil icon below the banner on your LinkedIn profile page to open the edit panel.
- Scroll down to the headline field and type 'Open to Work', 'Recent Graduate', or a similar phrase to signal your availability.
- Click the Save button to apply your updated headline.
- Confirm your profile now displays that you are open to job opportunities.
- Click the 'Open to' button below your profile photo and name to add an Open to Work badge.
- Select 'Finding a new job' from the available options.
- Fill in all required job preference details in the form.
- Scroll to the bottom of the dialog and select 'All LinkedIn members' to make the badge publicly visible on your profile.
- Click Save to confirm and publish your Open to Work badge.
