It is very easy to start an n8n workflow using the Form Trigger. Here’s a short guide on how to do it:
- Inside your n8n workflow, tap 'Add First Step' to get started.
- Following that, head over to the right-hand panel and click 'On Form Submission'.
- Now, it's time to set up the Form Trigger based on your preference. To get started, tap the 'Authentication' menu and select the method you prefer.
- Following that, come up with a unique Form Title and then enter it into the provided input field.
- Do the same thing for the Form Description. Write a short description that explains the purpose of the form.
- At this point, you can now start building the content of the form. To do that, click 'Add Form Element'.
- Add the label of the information you want to ask to the intended respondents.
- Subsequently, specify the Element Type of the label.
- If you need to customize the element further, tap 'Add Attributes' and then configure the corresponding settings accordingly.
- You can add as many form elements as you need. Simply tap 'Add Form Element' and repeat the same procedure.
- Now, click the Form URL to copy it, then send a copy to the intended respondents. Instruct them to start answering the form.
- Once done, click 'Execute Step' to proceed.
- Finally, the Form Trigger will be activated in your n8n workflow. Once the responses start coming in, the workflow will run according to your configurations.
