This demo shows how to turn off profile update notifications on LinkedIn so your network isn't alerted every time you make a change. You can disable notifications globally or target specific sections like Education using the Notify Network toggle.
Steps
- Click your profile icon on the top menu of your LinkedIn dashboard.
- Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu.
- Under Visibility settings, go to Visibility of your LinkedIn activity and select the Share job changes, education changes, and work anniversaries from profile option.
- Switch OFF the toggle button to stop broadcasting all profile updates to your network.
- For granular control, go to a specific section (e.g., Education) on your profile and turn OFF the Notify network option.
