How to Zoom In on Google Slides

Follow this interactive demo to learn how to zoom in on Google Slides.
  1. Navigate to the Google Slides toolbar and click the magnifying glass icon.
  2. On your slide, click and drag to highlight the area you want to zoom in on.
  3. Your slide will zoom in to the area you selected.

📌 Why this matters

You gain precise control over your presentation flow by directing audience attention exactly where you want it. This selective zooming transforms how you handle detailed diagrams, small text, or intricate charts that might otherwise strain visibility. Beyond just magnification, this creates a spotlight effect that eliminates distractions from other slide elements. When presenting complex data or walking through step-by-step processes, you can guide viewers through each component methodically rather than overwhelming them with the full slide at once.
