This demo shows how to trigger Microsoft Teams actions automatically when a RingCentral call event occurs, using a Zapier automation workflow. By connecting RingCentral as the trigger app and Microsoft Teams as the action app, teams can instantly respond to incoming or missed calls without manual intervention.
Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin building your automation.
- Click "Trigger" to start configuring the first step of your Zap.
- Search for RingCentral in the app search field and select it as your trigger app.
- Choose a trigger event such as "New Call Received" or "Missed Call" to define when the Zap fires.
- Connect your RingCentral account and select the phone number you want to monitor for call events.
- Add Microsoft Teams as the Action App in the next step of your Zap.
- Select an action event to define what Microsoft Teams should do when the trigger fires.
- Connect Microsoft Teams, map your RingCentral call details to the Teams action fields, then test and publish your Zap.
